WhatSheStyled ("we", "us", "our", or the "Site") is a fashion editorial website operated by WhatSheStyled. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit whatshestyled.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

We collect a small amount of data, and we collect it on purpose — never as a surprise. • **Information you give us:** if you subscribe to our newsletter, submit a product suggestion, or contact us, we receive the name, email, and any message you send. • **Information collected automatically:** when you browse the Site, our server logs and our analytics tools (Google Analytics 4) collect your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time on page. This is used to understand which editorials people actually read. • **Cookies and similar:** we use a small number of first-party cookies for things like remembering your newsletter popup dismissal, and third-party cookies set by analytics and advertising partners described below. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time.

We use the data we collect to: • Publish, maintain, and improve the Site and our editorial content. • Send the newsletter if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe in one click from any email). • Respond when you contact us. • Measure traffic and content performance so we can write about what people actually want. • Detect and prevent abuse, spam, or security incidents. We do **not** sell your personal information to anyone. We never have and we never will.

Affiliate partners may set cookies on your device to attribute the referral; their privacy practices govern that data, not ours.

We use the Pinterest API v5 to manage our own Pinterest account — creating boards, publishing pins, and reading analytics for content we publish. We do not request Pinterest data about you as a visitor, and we do not build features that read your personal Pinterest account. When you click a Pinterest "Save" button on a Pin, Pinterest itself may set cookies and collect data under Pinterest's own privacy policy (pinterest.com/privacy). We have no access to that data. Our Pinterest integration is operated under the Pinterest Developer App "WhatSheStyled Content Manager" and is used solely by our internal team to manage our own brand boards.

Some editorial imagery, model photography, and outfit compositions on WhatSheStyled are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence tools. AI-generated images are clearly intended to represent styled outfits, not real people or real product availability. Any product featured in an AI-generated image is linked to a real, purchasable item where possible. Pricing, availability, and product details are pulled from retailer pages at the time of publication and may change. We do not use AI to generate personal data about real visitors, and we do not feed user-submitted data into AI training pipelines.

To run the Site we rely on a small number of trusted vendors. Each handles a piece of the stack under their own privacy terms: • **Hosting:** Cloudflare (Pages + Workers) — serves the Site and stores environment configuration. • **Analytics:** Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic measurement (you can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on). • **Email:** our newsletter is sent via a transactional email provider; only your email address is stored for delivery. • **AI assistance:** AI tooling used to draft, edit, or illustrate content (Ollama-compatible inference endpoint). Inputs are limited to editorial briefs and do not include user data. We do not embed third-party advertising networks that track you across the open web.

The Site is intended for adults interested in fashion. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We keep server logs for 30 days for security and debugging. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default settings (14 months for events). We delete personal data on request.

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we don't sell, but the right exists). To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We respond within 30 days.

The Site is operated from the United States. By using it from outside the U.S., you understand that your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country.

We use HTTPS everywhere, store secrets in Cloudflare encrypted environment variables, and restrict admin access behind token-based authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
